What are a good set of ski pants to buy? I dont want snowboarding pants. I dont want them to be so baggy. I am looking for something that is more contoured to the leg. http://www.shopatron.com/products/productdetail/TITAN+PANT/part_number=92203/1565.0.1.1.6032.5231.0.0.0? http://www.shopatron.com/products/productdetail/ALICIA+STRETCH+PANT/part_number=91306/1565.0.1.1.6033.5231.0.0.0? Of course I am looking for them in mens but I held the second pair tonight and really liked the way they felt and were not baggy however they are for women. Any suggestions?
I need help finding a warm, mens - ski jacket for this winter? Hey guys, and ladies. I'm looking for a warm, waterproof jacket. But it can't be nylon. It'll get ripped and torn, plus I can't stand listening to myself walk. Like hearing snow pants. Overall feeling of that "zzippyness" isn't a turn on. Pricewise, I'd like too keep it low as possible. Atleast under 150. But if it's good quality and what I'm looking for, it's flexible. Uhm. Black is pretty boring. Along with silver. But bright red or blue is kind of faggy. I live in Vermont so I pretty much have to look online. Macy's is like 2 hours away. Hmm. It has too be something you could wear out too dinner with a ladie friend. I guess that's about it. I've looked at a countless number of sites, but looking over a couple hundred coats is making me nutty. Thankyou everyone who tries to help! Waterproof isn't a huge dal. I just hate throwing it in the dryer everytime I get home, or over the heater. Hoods are also fine either way. Thnx again
the markings on this pants, what does it say? I like the over all design of this ski pants and Im curious about the Japanese writings on it. can you tell me what does it say http://www.designerclothesonline.co.uk/product_clothes_info/Mens/Ralph-Lauren_RLX_Camo_Printed_Ski_Pants-(RAM4061).html
Can you wear a snow ski racing like this one (PIC) for normal skiing? should you wear a coat and pants over it? should you wear long underwear or underarmour under it? http://www.altrec.com/spyder/mens-comp-gs-race-suit?sku_id=734771&cm_mmc=Mercent-_-Froogle-_-Spyder-_-63444-734771&mr:trackingCode=7D7248A9-8CB9-DE11-97D7-0019B9C2BEFD&mr:referralID=NA
Is it okay to buy snowboarding gear for skiing? I understand that snowboarding gear is a bit bagger. Would this be functional or practical for skiing? would i look out of place wearing for example the more articulated knees in the snowboarding pants. I do like the look of the snowboarding gear as opposed to the skiing gear from a purely aesthetics stand thanks for the advice in advance. I've only been skiing a few times and each time i used my mates old season gear. My girlfriend purposely tries to look ugly...? Here's the deal: I have a really hot girlfriend. Like, a 10 when she tries. However, she scratches her face and chest, so she can't wear low cut tops and her face looks like she has severe acne when she's not wearing makeup, which she usually never does. She pulls her hair back into this bun and wears a black ski cap over it. She also wears GIANT baggy clothing (a mens hoody and ill fitting jogging pants). It's like she wants to look as bad as she can, and she has said that she knows she looks ugly when she is like this. She dresses up for me when we go out to nice places, but when she's going to class or something she's in the sweats with the hat, and she looks like a teenage boy. Why does she do this?

Padding for first time Skiing and Snowboarding? Hi All, Its my first time skiing and snowboarding. I am going to camel back mountain in Poconos. I have found a lot of helping information on yahoo answers about apparel in general, but I could not find information on padding... Could you suggest [maybe provide links] on what kind of padding I can buy. I am mainly concerned about my lower back and want to guard it. If you could suggest something I can readily find [beacuse I am at 5 PM EST] it would be great. The only thing I have found is "Under Armour Agile Slider Short Mens" and "Champro Slotted Football Pants" I am unable to find if either of these protect lower back. Also do you think they would hinder my maneuverability. Thanks for the answers. What I failed to mention is that, I have some undiagnosed back problems. Have fallen on ice pretty much every winter for the past 5 years =/ Tough luck, I know. Still no padding then?
What to wear while skiing? What I wore last season for skiing for upper body clothing was a white undershirt, a normal t-shirt, a somewhat heavy sweatshirt, and a heavy winter coat. For pants I wore 2 pairs, one that is like fleece, but doesn’t keep you as warm, and one that is a heavier wind pant-type. And for my feet, I just wore like 2 pairs of ankle socks. What I was thinking was to just ditch the undershirt and normal t-shirt, and just buy either a $60 Under Armour Coldgear Blitz Chase Mock Mens performance top (http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2589974&cp=2367827.2629150.2624961.2631197.2631204&parentPage=family&searchId=2631204) or a $50 Under Armour Coldgear Chase Mock Mens performance top (http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2171768&cp=974098&sr=1&origkw=Under+Armour+Coldgear+Chase+Mock+Mens&kw=under+armour+coldgear+chase+mock+mens&parentPage=search&searchId=18458230183). So yeah, any advice is appreciated. Ok, I felt that I needed to add that I race slalom and giant slalom races. When I do these races, I take off my winter coat so I go faster, but I don't use a GS suit. Please tell me if that changes anything on what I should wear for my upper body. Before anyone criticizes me even more about the socks thing or anything else that doesn't sound good with what I said, I want you people to know that this was my first year skiing and my coach did not tell me what all to get!
