Ladies Ski Pants

what is the difference between ski and snowboarding pants amd jackets?

I'm skiing for the first time and I'm not sure what to buy.

1. no difference just buy something warm and comfortable layering is key and cheeper
2. There's really no difference. Some pants intended for snowboarding have extra ass padding b/c of the amount of time snowboarders spend sitting, but it's not very common.
3. Snowboard pants tend to be baggier and most have padded/waterproof knees and beat area. Most ski pants are the same without the pads etc... Some ski pants are a 4 way tight stretch material.
