Tighter or looser snowboarding pants?

I already know that the loose snow pants are in style for snowboarding, but they are also a bit TOO loose. As in, like, I could pants myself easily. But the other pants I have are older and a little too tight. So which ones should i wear?

  1. i think the looser fitting ones work much better because you are not was restricted in your movement, and keeping them pulled up is as easy is wearing a decent belt
  2. Go with comfort, with the loose ones, and wear a belt. Also I totally did not see the guy above me's post before I wrote this.
  3. looser for more movement and comfort! Just wear a belt or some crazy suspenders to keep them up. Besides, too tight pants are probably not gonna be very warm... and that's the worst thing ever.
  4. loose snow pants aren't the style for snowboarding...it's just more free and it's easier the maneuver in the looser pants than tighter pants... and if you could pants yourself easily...that's too loose..roxy makes good snowboarding pants..small on the waist but baggy on the waist hmmm...the more comfortable one
  5. If you can move around easily in the tighter pants I'd wear those. I've had problems with borrowed pants needing to be hauled up every five minutes and that's a giant pain. Especially if you accidentally tuck them too far down over your boots into your bindings so whenever you bend your knees they pull down.
