Can you wear track pants for snowboarding?
I was wondering if you could wear track pants for snowboarding if you will have a wick away layer on the bottom? just curious.. I will be going on easter weekend which is the 2nd to last week in march. Thanks Yes I have wick away underlayer as stated above that will keep me dry and I am planning to wear another layer before the track pants... and just stating if it makes any difference I am going to Mammoth mountain here in Cali

- i jsut did yesterday nd it worked ok but it didnt wick away the mosture as well as i wanted it too
- wear some thermals or under armour underneath and you should be fine.
- yeah, you can
- Yeah you can, I suggest they tie because if you wipe out you're going to be very uncomfortable if snow gets you know where. You need to get thermals like underarmor or something, or you will be whining how cold you are.
- you can get away with it especially if you're only going once--no point buying expensive pants--just avoid sitting down to strap into your bindings, eventually your track pants will soak thru if you keep sitting
- it works but not too well. if you are going to keep snowboarding id advise investing in some snowpants. if not then they should work fine for one or 2 times a year.
- I wear anything I want under my Carhartt clothes. They can be used again for so many other purposes.
