period coming at a bad time?

i'm supposed to get my period the week of the 15th this month, and i'm going to vermont with my friend that week. I've been looking forward to it for sooo long, and i'm pissed now! i know there's no way to make my period come earlier or later, but idk how i'm gonna carry around my tampons and stuff. I doubt i'll be taking bags w/ me to the actual resort where we're gonna ski, so idk where to put tampons. I guess i could keep a few in the pocket/s of my jacket/snow pants? any advice to make this vacation go smoother would be very helpful, and we are also gonna go snowmobiling the first weekend we're up there, do you think this will be uncomfortable w/ a tampon in? thanks ladies (i'm 15 so bc is not an option, i'm not really looking for ways to make it stop, just ways to help make it more discreet)

1. well maybe you'll get lucky and it'll be late. but you could always put the tampons in you pants pocket
2. I know what you mean!everytime my period was due,i was supposed to be somewhere important.-_-and it kinda got on my nerves lol,just be prepared,bring extra panties,some perfume to hide the smell,some baby wipes,some OVERNIGHT pads,and dark clothing and you'll be fine!
3. There are portable tampons that Tampax and others make, which are much smaller than a full-sized tampon. They're very convenient and discreet. As far as the snowmobiling, if you can feel the tampon, it isn't in correctly. You should never be able to feel it.
4. firstly your period will be unregular for a couple of years so you cant really control it unless you tak some kind of pills but idk and you can just change your pad/tampon right before you do an activity if it would be easy to do.
5. wearing a tampon wont be uncomfortable...however you might want to wear a pantie liner just to be safe on the snowmobile. best thing i can think of is to just keep a few tampons in your pockets. you could always pray that it doesn't come on time!
6. ha i live in vermont! and no, i dont think there is any ways that you can. and yes, that is what i would do. keep them handy in your pockets and change them every bathroom break. tampons are never uncomfortable if you put them in right, so no, it would not be uncomfortable. sorry there isnt anything i can do more, but have fun! vermonts great. what mountain?
7. well lemon may help it go away a tad bit faster.... but you said you don't want that... so ur best bet is tampons put them in any pockets u have and have fun it'll be like u don't even have have it so don't worry don't stress and have fun... wear dark clothes too
8. Do you carry a purse? If you do/don't, I would suggest carrying a small one, nothing too big, and stuffing a couple of tampons in them. Tampons are usually discreet and if someone see's them, you could play them off for something else like some medicine...lol? Good luck!
