- I am a really big fan of burton gear. It is extremely well designed and functional and durable as can possibly be. It is very expensive, but you get what you pay for with burton.
- Really as long as you get coats and pants with breathability and waterproofing ratings of at least 10 k each you should be fine and the brand won't matter you might like this... http://www.lib-tech.com/snow/outerwear/ it hasn't been released yet though
- For coats, go with Burton or Special Blend, but for snowpants get ripzone.
- I wear all 686. Their stuff is super steezy, and they hold up well even in terrible conditions. The amount of features my 686 x New Era jacket has is pretty crazy.
- any thing gortex i don't care who makes it if it is gortex it is worth buying besides that look for the amount of insulation you want
- BURTON DC OR LIBTECH
- just go with burton. its basically just like snowboarding's version of nike. You know what you are going to get when you buy it. Yes it will be more expensive, but in the end, its worth it. I know some sports shops like Sports Authority routinely carry burton gear, or you can try their website to see the different styles.
