How can I permanently paint my snowboarding pants?

I have really nice snowboarding pants but they have a really ugly colour. Is there a way for me to permanently paint (or change the colour) a new colour onto it? If yes, how can I do this? Can I just use spray paint, or do they make them stiff? If I am able to, will my snowboard pants look messed up, or will they look real? Can I paint the pants with more than one colour? Please Answer! Thanks!

1. I don't think this is a good idea. Snowboard pants are usually made of nylon or polyester and usually made waterproof, so liquids, are designed to slide off them. Painting them would probably make them stiff and hard to wash. and the spray paint would look ugly. trust me. there is no way to solidly change the color of your snowboard pants by painting them. I suggest trying a really heavy dye that would bypass the waterproof of the pants.
2. Paints a bad idea... your pants will stiffin' up and overall won't look good. Like the other guy said try some heavy dies, but washing snowboarding/ski pants tends to make the pants less water proff (not sure why just from experiance) if your looking for bright pants try dick`s or sports authority they have cheap burton pants on sale, i got neon green for 60$ :D and if you want to be less noticable try your local kohls or other main streamstore such as target not the best brands, but if they work its all good XD
3. this is a bad idea to begin with sorry, just buy a new pair if you dont like the color, HOWEVER if you desperately need to re-color them, then i would try sharpies, just make sure that the color you want to change it to is darker then the color you already have.
