Plus sized Ski Clothes?

I'm just wandering do they do plus sized ski pants and jackets? I'm a lady and need a size 18, but all the places I've looked only go up to 16! Please help! Sorry I should have said. Its a UK size 18 I'm looking for. So UK shops only please!

  1. I think they are trying to tell you something.
  2. why not put on some additions.
  3. believe it or not i've had luck at the salvation army. but i got my snow pants at burlington coat factory....
  4. How wide are your ski's? What size are your boots? How deep is the snow? Do you ski up hill or down hill? All these very important questions should be answered before you venture into buying pannnnts and a jacketttttttt !!!!! Happy skiiiiiiig.
  5. Try Jumonia They have wonderful workout and active clothes for larger women
  6. T K Maxx have loads of Ski gear at reasonable prices. I'm sure they do the size your after.
  7. There is at least XL. Check online?
  8. Please ignore those who don't seem to understand that active people come in all sizes! Lands' End ski pants go up to a size 18 in misses: http://www.landsend.com/pp/InsulatedSquallPants~112990_59.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::BLA&CM_MERCH=SRCH_00001&origin=search Here's another link to a site I use sometimes, not cheap, but very good quality and you'll have them a long time: http://junonia.com/detail.htm?sid=372602&tl=7&ldid=29 Both of the above also have jackets in your size. JCPenney doesn't have ski pants but does have a large selection of reasonably priced jackets: http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/x5.aspx?catid=51373&deptid=50434&cmAMS_T=X3&cmAMS_C=C7&CmCatId=50434|50445
  9. You probably won't find them in stores very easily--I would try catalogue companies like LLBean, Land's End etc. they have a bigger variety of sizes. I've had a few of their jackets which are very good quality & very warm, but I've never tried their skipants.
  10. Ok, i understand this - i am a size 16 and even so i find everything is on the small side! have you considered buying mens stuff - salopettes are very similar in design and also jackets are very similar to womens, try on lots (as all styles & sizes vary) and go for white or black in colour which is also used on ladies clothes. No one will know the difference!
  11. Katrina, I got stuff from M&S in the past and thedid a good size range. Also try Blacks or Cotswolds outdoor shops (do a web search). Good luck.
